Its Been Awhile...

I realize I have not been posting blogs. This is mainly due to school and Rayelee being sick since September.

Rayelee:
  • She turned one on October 4. Her party was on the 6th and it turned out AMAZING! I will post pictures.
  • She has had a viral infection for what feels like forever.
  • She walked on her birthday.
  • She is already in the "terrible 2's" stage at 1.
  • Her favorite word is "dog" and she can pronounce it clearly.
College:
  • Honestly, I hate it.
  • I have all A's and B's.
  • My word of advice is to never take an online math classes because they really suck.
Robert and I:
I will not go into detail on this but I know people are beginning to ask questions.
  • We are doing what is best for Rayelee.
  • We will both make sure Rayelee is comfortable at all times with her surroundings.
  • I am happy with the choices I make. If I am happy, Rayelee is happy, then thats what matters.
  • Stop listening to rumors. If you have a question ask me.
Rayelee's kitten also turned one in October :)

Breastfeeding and LBGT Rights

I am doing this to just get it over with.

Breastfeeding. It is natural. I support it 100%. I also support formula feeding 100%. Do whats best for you and your family. Breastfeeding is not for everyone. Some people have medical issues to where they cannot breastfeed. My daughter wouldn't take my milk now matter what I do. I didn't want her to starve so we started formula feeding. I think women breastfeeding should be able to feed where ever they want with or without a cover. Why, because once again it is a natural thing. If we did not make breast into something sexual than we would not freak out when a mother is feeding their hungry child in public.

All this chick-fil-a stuff is stupid. Who cares what some 80 something year old man thinks. He has his freedom to speech just like everyone else. I support gay rights and freedom of speech. I would not stop eating good chicken because the founder of the company does not believe in gay marriage. How childish is that. If a gay couple would go in there I am sure they would be served just as friendly as every straight couple.

Glad that's over with.

Life Update

A lot has happened in the past weeks, which is my reason as to not posting once a day.

Rayelee is getting into EVERYTHING. I am usually chasing her 90% of the day. She is a little explorer! She is almost 10 months old! We had a photo shoot last week and are waiting for the pictures. Once i have purchased them, I will share.

My dad came down to visit and bought a new laptop for me, since my old one broke back in May. The reason he bought the laptop is because I AM GOING TO COLLEGE! Finally, I rather be starting two years late, then never! I went to our local college and did my placement test, after three years of not being in school, I figured I would fail. I didn't I scored into college level classes which took me by surprise! I signed up for my classes the same day, I start August 20th! If you cannot tell I am REALLY excited.

My brother comes home in three weeks and I cannot wait for that either! I have eight tickets to Indiana Beach, he doesn't know it ,but I am going to be taking him and a friend of his choice to Indiana Beach for two days. It's my birthday present/ basic training graduation present. I hope he likes it, I am sure he will be thankful for anything I do for him.

9 Months!

Mind blowing and bittersweet!

9 months ago today, I was in labor and gave birth to a gorgeous little girl at 5:27pm EST. Now she is all over the place, getting into everything and is HUGE.

Monday, July 1st, we went to her 9 month wellness check up. She is perfect. She weighed 24lbs and some oz's and was 31inch tall, which is above average for her age. She is off the charts and I am so happy she above the charts rather than below. The doctor said I could start adding coconut milk to her formula an oz at a time. She is lactose so she won't be getting cow milk. All her developments are on time or before.

If you asked me 2 yrs ago if I thought I was going to have a child i would have said "No, I can't have children." Two miscarriages and a total of THREE years trying we finally had our little healthy baby! It's still all new to me, kind of feels like a dream. If it is I hope I NEVER wake up from it!

She is clapping now. She stands up on her knees and is currently trying to transition to her feet from her knees. She has fell face forward about four times today. Poor kid. She got her first bruise the other day, on her leg, not sure how she got it though. None on her face yet.

I made her a fourth of July tutu that I can't wait to upload pictures of, later tonight when I publish this blog.

Rayelee Update

Rayelee can say dada, mama, dog, and kk. One top tooth broke through the other three are about to. Today she stood with her walking toy, which caught me off guard! She loves finding shoes and pulling them around. She seems to always find the trash can in her walker. She loves all the animals. When she wakes up in the morning she doesn't cry, she plays with her nigh-nigh toys. She crawls eveywhere! she knows what "no" means. She will be 9 months on 4th of July!

Babysitting Adventures!

* There will be two post today, to make up for yesterday.

I am currently watching my SIL (sister in-law) children for the remaining of firework season. She has four children. David is 8, Jazzy is 4, Nate is 3 and Aireona is 8 months. I am also watching another little boy named Shawn who is 4, but he doesn't start until next week. I absolutly LOVE watching children.

Monday, we had lunch, story time, naptime, snack, coloring and then we decided to go to the park. The 3 girls went all in the wagon and David pushed Nate in a stroller. We get 3/4's of the way there and I discover BOTH my back tires to the wagon are pretty much flat. So, I tell them we have to turn around air up the tires, then we will come back. We get back to my house, for me to realize that Robert has the air compressor in the back of his Jeep. By this time Robert is at work. The kids were a little let down, but they understood. So we came back inside had so free time to play. Then at 8:00pm I had them lay down to calm down until their mom got here at 10:00pm.

Tuesday, was the same as Monday, except we went to the park. Which of course I snapped a few pictures for the blog. They had fun and played pirates. I am guessing pirates are a big thing now, I keep seeing kids playing and dressing up like pirates more and more every year! They were wore out when we came back. They colored while the babies slept. Free time then laid down once again.

I love ALL 14 of my nieces and nephews, yes i said 14!

Sal, Emmett, Taj, Cassie, Calvin, Lydia, Knox, Dillon, Hannah, Parker, David, Jazzy, Nate and AIreona!

I am truly blessed with such a big family :)

Sunday, Rayelee went to her me-maw's. Mommy and Daddy went trail riding at Interlake in Lynnville, Indiana. Here are some pictures!

We had a great time. I even drove the Jeep on few trails :)

Rayelee Crawled!

She did it, finally!

Everyone has been on my case about why Rayelee has not crawled. I do not push her to do things she simply is not ready to do. She will do everything on her own time. I am so happy for her though! We will be ordering her baby crawling knee pads, since all we have is hard floors! Looks like this momma just got busier!

I Miss Having Friends

I miss it, so much! I miss the last minute get together's. The camping trips, swimming spots, the ice cream dates, the picture taking days, the talks by the river, etc. Most importantly I miss the laughter and just the friendship, in general. I really do not know what happened. I had Rayelee and everyone has slowly disappeared!

Kayla and I

This is just some of my friends I have more photos but they are on my laptop, which is not working right now. I wish my friends would want to hang out with me I guess. I hate bothering everyone because everyone has different things going on right now. I just wish I wouldn't have to try to get people to come over or go to the park or whatever. I am not saying I need to be with my friends every week but if you can't send me a text at least ONCE a month, I feel like maybe we shouldn't be friends.

To me a friend is someone you can depend on, much like a sister or brother. Someone that checks in to see how your life is going, supports your choices you make, and is trustworthy/loyal to you. Someone who will tell you if you really do look good in that dress. Someone who will tell you if you are doing the wrong thing. Someone who is willing to give you advice or even ask for your advice. Someone who is willing to give a shoulder to cry on. So on and so forth.

I am not saying in anyway that my friends suck. I just miss them. So if you are my friend and you are reading this, how about we get together soon? If we are not friends and you would like to be, I would be more than happy to be your friend even if I am just your internet friend :)

If I won the lottery.....

If I won the lottery, what would I do with it?
  1. I would build my dream house in Tennessee.
  2. I would put away at least half a million for Rayelee's future.
  3. I would build a cat shelter.
  4. I would donate to trusted charities.
  5. I would go buy me some clothes that actually fit.
Any money that I had left I would put in a CD at some banks.  If you would have asked me this when I was 18, I would have probably said some crazy things. Its so weird how fast we really do grow up and mature. Without Rayelee I would most likely be going out and acting my age (20) every night. This has been on my mind lately and I have wanted to write it down just have not had the chance until now.

If you won the lottery what are the top five things you would do?

Get to know me

I am 20 year old wife and mother. I married my husband, Robert, October 10, 2010. We got the news that we were expecting in February 2011. I had two prior miscarriages. We bought our first house at the young ages of 19 and 20 in April 2011. Rayelee arrived in October on the fourth of 2011. She was born healthy! We did struggle with acid reflux and still do to this day. She is a healthy eater. Don't judge me for my parenting choices and I won't judge yours. You should also know I suck at grammar and spelling because Indiana decided not to teach me that anymore after the fourth grade. I love animals way more than I probably should. I have three dogs: BB, Molly and Decker. I also have two cats, Mocha and Mittens. Mocha will be leaving us soon to go live with one of my friends. My favorite colors are purple and green. My favorite number is 3. My favorite food is anything sweet. I am on a diet right now, trying to lose thirty pounds before my brother gets back from basic. We placed a bet between each other.  I have three sisters and one brother. Mandi, Marri, Michele and Cody respectively.
